Playground Inspection USA offers you the services of Certified Playground Safety Inspectors (CPSIs) in all 50 states. One of our inspectors is also a licensed attorney. Between them, our CPSIs have decades of experience in many areas of the commercial playground business, including inspections, construction, demolition, and maintenance. For more information about inspectors in your area, phone us today at (877) 778-8830.
Certification: Certified Playground Safety Inspectors (CPSIs) receive training and instruction from the National Playground Safety Institute (NPSI), operated by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), a national recreation authority with more than 22,000 members. The Institute's program includes hours of training by nationally certified playground safety experts, and it prepares enrollees for the CPSI exam. The CPSI certification gives inspectors the qualification to inspect playgrounds for safety issues, enforcing current ASTM standards and CPSC guidelines.
Practices: Our inspectors examine your playground equipment, surfacing, and environment top to toe. Once they're done, the inspector issues you a detailed written evaluation of your playground. If your playground has any problem areas, the inspector will explain them to you and make general recommendations about how to rectify the problems. The inspector will also be available for follow-up discussion. All of the inspections that we perform are confidential. The CPSI Code of Conduct ensures that inspectors share the results of the inspection with your organization, and nobody else. And inspectors approach your playground from a neutral perspective, because the Code of Conduct prohibits them from promoting the sale of playground equipment in their capacity as an inspector.
